Biztech
Introduction
The project aims at helping young women gain the power of independence, by providing them with the entrepreneurial tools that they need in order to create their own business venture and inspire conscious capitalism in their societies.
Technology, along with mentorship, is the main tool that the project provides. The technology packages consist of a technological device, data, and applications specifically chosen by successful entrepreneurs to jump start their venture. There is a 3 day workshop that aims on training the girls on how to use the phones and how to start their own small business ventures.
The first workshop was successfully held from Aug 27th to 31st 2013. We had 10girls participating and they have made great progress since the workshop.
